Invisiblehand is the studio and press run by Lilah Friedland.

Lilah was born in Ojai, California. Her father is musican Brute Force. They often perform together as Brute Force and Daughter of Force. Her mother Cynthia was a producer and manager in cabaret and rock. She grew up on tour with her godmother, her mother’s client and BF, Lainie Kazan.

She went to Bard College and Brooklyn college studying poetry, theatre and collaboration.

Lilah’s work is based in the animism taught to her by her paternal grandmother, Miriam Rose. The objects she makes are intention imprinted, prayed upon, and charged.
